Introduction to Thermodynamics laws

Thermodynamics is the science that deals with energy, entropy, and equilibrium. Its four laws help to understand the nature and process associated with it. The first law of thermodynamics gives the energy conservation principle but does not give the direction of the process and extent of energy conversion. The second law of thermodynamics helps to solve the limitations given by the first law by its Kelvin Planck statement (for heat engine) and Clausius statement (for heat pump).
